I'm a huge fan of the game of basketball in general. So my question to you is, what teams do you guys follow or if you guys have a guilty pleasure team? I follow consistently two college teams and four NBA teams. The Celtics by far are my favorite and foremost team. I've bled Celtic green since I was a wee little tyke. So here are my teams.

College:
Tennessee #1, I hail from Tennessee originally.
#2 Kansas

NBA:
#1 Celtics
#2 Cavaliers, I'm sure I'll take a lot of flack for this one but they are my hometown team now, that and my girlfriend is a die hard Cleveland sports fan. And I really do enjoy watching them play... as long as it's not against my Celtics.
#3 Supersonics, I still have trouble calling them the Thunder
#4 Hornets, I love Chris Paul's game, 'nuff said.

Let me hear ya!
CB Draft - New York Knicks
PG: George Hill / Nate Robinson
SG: Dwyane Wade / Gerald Henderson / Christian Eyenga
SF:  Grant Hill / Paul George / Earl Clark
PF:  Kenyon Martin / Jordan Hill / (Earl Clark)
C:   Greg Oden / Kurt Thomas / Hilton Armstong

  • And the Truth shall set you free
I was always a huge fan of the Reggie Miller Pacers and the San Antonio Spurs... I always lived vicariously through them when my beloved celts were watching the playoffs from home.  David Robinson and Reggie were always great to root for.

Guilty pleasure team:

#1: Rockets
#2: Blazers

I don't consider following the T-Wolves a guilty pleasure, because who doesn't root for big al and Gomes?

Yikes, what's next... the Lakers??
 ;)

Guilty pleasures:
1) Blazers (lived in Portland for 5 years; Blazers fans hate the Lakers almost as much as Cs fans do.)
2) Miami.
Celtics fan for life.

I wouldn`t call myself a fan, but I like the Milwaukee Bucks, and I have no idea why.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I always like watching the teams that play an unusual offense style that is doomed to fail in  the long haul, but entertaining the short haul.

Suns, Warriors, Westhead Nuggets etc...
Yup

Buffalo Bills. Utah Jazz back in the day.  I'd like to see the Browns do well. Sacramento Kings.  The Spurs.

BC Žalgiris aka Zalgiris Kaunus

The non-BCS football teams

anyone playing the Yankees, especially the Mets.

The Indian National Cricket Team ...BEAT PAKISTAN! Not really. I know nothing about it, but it's the biggest rivalry on Earth so pick a side.

Any horse that strikes my fancy ....poor Barbaro

Cold Weather hockey teams over warm weather hockey teams. Even the New York teams. I just can't get into the Dallas Stars over the Rangers or Islanders. Those New York fans could have been me

and yet any Olympian in the winter Olympics from a country where it doesn't snow. Like the Nigerian downhill skiier that's just trying to do half as well as the Swiss women's captain, but can't, and every once in a million years qualifies, and then he's a hero is his country

The MIT black jack team over the casinos

Mike Phelps

Jennifer Anniston over Angelina Jolie

Shaq on that reality show of his

Any team with the word "Louisiana" in it, but not LSU

Any team playing a crooked team like FSU or Miami

Nantucket Whalers

John Daly

The SNL cast...funnier than Monty Python 8 times out of 10, but perhaps not as funny as Kids in the Hall.

Letterman over Leno, but I admire Leno taking a risk

The boys at South Park over any other cartoon

Original Star Trek over all the others combined

In a VERY close call the Star Wars prequels over the original Star Wars

PETA over rich women with furs, but us vs PETA in all other scenarios

The Sasha Baron Cohen legal team over anyone that was accurately depicted in an embarrassing way in any of his movies

The Goldman family over OJ

Sheed over Stern and the refs

Big Foot over Nessie

I like to root for the Persians over the Spartans but I just can't do it. What? The Spartans were like the worst culture ever

Ellen over Oprah

The View over....I guess Judge Judy

Robin Williams and Steve Martin and other funny comics over Jim Carrey, although he has his moments

I guess that seems like everything, but I might have left something out

first game I ever went to was vs. Minnesota in 1995, so I'll always have a soft spot for them...now with Big Al there it's easy to root for them as long as they aren't playing the c's

I enjoy watching the Suns or the Nuggets when I'm not watching the Celtics. These two teams are fun to watch. I also give a look to some teams sometimes, not much for the team itself but for certain players I appreciate.

However there are teams I just can't bear watching, like Cleveland (except when I expect them to lose) or Utah.

Right now, in the NBA:

-Oklahoma City Thunder (the whole youth thing and I love Durant)

-Chicago Bulls (might as well follow the team in the city I live in)

-Milwaukee Bucks (not too far up the road and have an interesting mix to watch.  Jennings is intriguing)

I really like the Rockets.  They have my favorite non-Celtic player (Shane Battier) and they always play hard.  Rick Adelman should have gotten coach of the year consideration last year and also this year.
I actually like the Rockets more when T-Mac and Yao aren't playing, as they are more interesting.  The fact that they almost beat the Lakers last year with their two superstars injured is awesome.  I'm really interested to see how the team continues to evolve under Morey's direction.

I also like the Kings these days, they are a very interesting young team.  Paul Westphal has done a really good job, and Tyreke Evans has more than vindicated Danny Ainge's pre-draft praising of his abilities.

I always like to see the Thunder do well, too (unless it's against us).
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

"Keep your friends close but your enemies closer"famous lines by Michael Corleone Godfather part2: Cavs,Lakers,Magic,Hawks and whichever teams poses a threat to beat us(Celtics).

I really like watching the improvements the top tier teams make throughout the season.I try to watch as many games played by all the top teams i can before the playoffs start.

Also,i have 1 team i call the Celtics little bro.team each season...i pick a new one every season.A team thats been down in the standings for a few seasons or more but on the verge of taking that next step or turning the corner. The team i picked this season is ...i'll get back to you after this week, there's a toss up of 2 at this time.
