Wonder whether he'd be an able substitute with Daniels out. I've not seen him play much but liked a couple of his games vs. the Cs.

Actually, he had a very good year shooting the ball last year and was impressive at time with 9.7 PPG, 44.7% FG%, 39% 3PTFG%, 54.1% TS%. He's a good size SG.

But if he's going to Memphis it must be because they are willing to offer the best money.

Yeah was just looking at his numbers -- 39% from 3, not bad.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Wafer would've been nice here. He'll do well in Memphis though too.

Memphis signs another volume scorer? Bad fit for Wafer. Almost as bad as Olympiacos.

  • Rondo = Good
This makes me wonder: are there any other possibly semi-decent wings playing overseas (or just not playing) that we could try to get a hold of at some point?

Considering the lack of real trade possibilities (unless Tony Allen becomes 2x the player he has been in the past, in which case we wouldn't need to trade anyway), it seems like waiver wire or pickup from retirement / overseas are our best options for shoring up the bench.  Again.

We can make it through a couple months just fine without Daniels.  If we lose an extra 3 games or so, who cares?  My real conscern is that Daniels better stay healthy after this.  If you look at his injury history, its far from a given.
