I didn't want to believe it was true, but who am I to dispute photographic proof?

What is LA's opinion on Canada?

We love our gentle neighbors to the north. Especially Tim Horton's.

Q for LAL:

It's been noted that Los Angeles smog has been reduced by 85% since the 1970's.  However, John Hollinger recently had the following take:

Quote
SynergyGreen has rated L.A. as the smoggiest city in 2010.  Californians in general suffocated from 135 smog days, 37 red-alert days and 2 purple-alert days. Purple-alert days occur when the air is deemed so unhealthy that citizens were alerted to limit outdoor exposure, and sensitive groups were told to remain completely indoors.

Is the new L.A. management concerned by these recent numbers or encouraged by study's that are analyzing L.A. smog via a more historical standpoint?

Lets just say that the All American Good Guyz are planning on putting the entire CBNBA on Purple and Gold alert.

So...  between the overall lack of interest in the playoffs, and the devolution of discussion from thoughtful basketball analysis to random images, is there any truth to the rumor that there won't be a CelticsBlog Draft in 2013?

Discuss.

Hasn't this been the status quo forever now?

There has been something that has overall felt lacking, and I'm not exactly sure what.

I think a lot of it can probably be attributed to something Nick pointed out, there's a yuge disparity between the contenders and the pretenders. A lot of these match ups, in my opinion are no brainers. I guess you could argue that some people aren't dong a great job fighting for their point, but I don't think they'd have an impact on the results.

It's much worse this year than it's ever been, at least from my perspective.

I'm not sure if it's that more teams have Co-GMs, or the gap between the haves and have nots, or what.  It just seems like of the eight playoff threads, there's maybe one where there's high-level discussion going on.

Food for thought, I guess.  The Walker Wiggle warned that this year was the one where the CB Draft was going to devolve into memes and one-liners, and unfortunately, he's being proven correct.  (This will make TWW happy, because the only thing he enjoys more than being right is being right in hindsight, so he can post I-told-you-sos.)
