Trade season is upon us so here we go!
Rozier + filler(s) for Jonathon Simmons
Rozier + Nader + Larkin works salary-wise. Alternatively, we can do Rozier + Yabu, but imo that's an overpay. Technically, Simmons and Larkin cannot be traded until December 15.
The Magic are in rebuilding mode. Elfrid is due for a payday next summer. Not sure if they see him as their starting PG moving forward. Rozier has 2 years left on his rookie deal and is about the same age as Gordon (and most of their other prospects).
Simmons is way older than Rozier but he is on a team friendly contract till 2020.

Great idea, but the problem is, what is the filler? You'd have to include Morris, Baynes, Smart, Tatum, or Yabu to get up to make the trade work financially. I'm unwilling to do that.
But I do like Simmons.

I love Jonathan Simmons but I suspect, so do the magic.

Think Orlando like Simmons too much, as they should. Really wanted him last offseason

I love Rozier, but the Magic chuckle at that. Throwing in Yabu or Theis might tempt them...
