The Rozier is garbage line is hyperbole.  Why throw away value if it doesn't cost too much.
Serious mistake by C's unless they have a nice alternative lined up.

Just watch...he'll be worth a late lottery pick by mid season.

I think without Al Horford to cover for his lack of playmaking ability he'll be extremely exposed.

I also think he has no place starting on our team unless we're tanking

I do not like Rozier. He is a selfish player who only cares about his status or his stats. Would rather have a team first guy like Rubio.

We'll always have a place for Pokemon in our hearts . And I think Rozier's low TO rate is pretty good for us next season with Hayward probably being our main playmaker.

Lol. Maybe, but I don't think we can really only roll with one willing and able passer in the starting lineup. Smart is willing and somewhat able, so I'd rather start he than Rozier, who is both unwilling and unable

This all seems to be heading towards Ainge offering KP the max. Can't really see anyone else worthy of all the cap space he is trying to open up...

Would Dallas match?

Dallas will match any offer without hesitation.  The upside of a KP and Doncic duo is extremely high.  Aside from that, Dallas will have no chance to sign a big time free agent without a commitment towards winning.

He’s willing when he’s a starter.  When he comes in for 15-20 minutes he’s looking to get his.  When he’s a starter he knows he’ll have time to get his at some point, and so let’s the game come to him more.

I’m not saying it isn’t a flaw, and it would have been better for the team if he could play the same way off the bench as he does when he starts, but at the same time it doesn’t mean he can’t be a starting PG.  We saw that version of Rozier for an extended period just 13-16 months ago, and it was a version that can win you games.  Sure there were some duds (Game 7 vs. Cleveland most notably), but those duds weren’t any worse than the performance we just saw from Kyrie for four straight games vs. Milwaukee.

Why are people still debating keeping Rozier.

He had 13 decent games over a 4 year career.

I think that him being a willing passer as a starter was definitely true of the 2018 playoff team, but I'm not sure how true that will be on this team. He'll certainly be behind our 3 wings in terms of usage (or at least he should be), and there is still some big noise to be made for this team regarding free agency, trades and the draft.

I just don't know how he would adjust to being a low-usage starter. Ideally he'd be like a Darren Collison type, but I'm not sure he has it in him.

Because he has value and the Celtics still have some contol over that.

The Celtics cannot recoup any value from the other players leaving.

The celtics have not looked to recoup value from Al Horford or Kyrie Irving.

Yeah, I am sure getting value for Terry stinking Rozier is high on the too do list,

Terry is not even worth the 10 million caphold he has.

I think Rozier's return, or lack thereof, will be predicated on which relationships he burned to the ground after he went scorched Earth on the talk show circuit following the season and not on his basketball abilities or value to the team. Did Rozier completely break his work place relationships with Ainge, Stevens, the assistant coaches, Hayward, Brown, Tatum and Smart? If he did, he is not returning. If he didn't, I would expect Ainge to bring him back at around $9-10 million per
