Wow! Sounds like all that "Rondo for Paul" talk was just small talk.  The Lakers are looking to go all in.

It is disturbing how the Lakers were able to create a competitive team over the last few years with assets that also have trade value. Our assets for the most part don't. Pretty much only Rondo does.

yeh, the Celtics also want to land both...one via trade and one via FA signing...

just the Lakers are bold trying to land both at the same time...I'd be scared of that team...if that was the team in 08 vs our team in 08...i dont want to say who will win but that will be one epic finals series

The other LA team has a better shot and i don't believe that Howard will be traded till post all star break which i think is in Orlando..Paul will get traded before the season starts.

They can't trade Bynum to both places. Neither team, from what I understand, want's a 31 year old Gasol on a max deal. They want young players and draft picks.

Sadly I believe Howard ends up in Los Angeles as a Laker.

I still believe CP3 finds his way here even if it's for a year.

The question that faces the Lakers now is....will someone gift them an All-Star AGAIN. Or will they be forced to rebuild in some other way (not that they have to rebuild yet).

I wouldn't be shocked to see them gifted another star.

The "LOL" was more or less how I was feeling about it.  I live in Los Angeles and have to live with this stuff.  It seems they are always in on a big name.  I guess that is my defense mechanism.

you are absolutely correct...every few years they are send a gift package, that helps them win the title.....lets see - Orlando decided to get nothing for Shaq, Phoenix thought Horry wasn't good, Odom, then Gasol....i hope DHoward isn't next.
