I think Jaylen > Ingram because of Jaylen's 2-way potential but also the blood clot issues with Ingram now. But I'm a bit surprised people are ranking Jaylen higher than Kuzma even. I thought Kuzma would be considered another "blue chip" asset along with Tatum, #3 pick.

Kuzma is older, and the definition of a chucker... He takes like 6 3's a game, and hits only 1.8 of them...

His rebounding is meh, and his defense has always been atrocious.

Why people thought Kuzma was ever on Tatum's level has surprised me. Then again most of reddit NBA/ESPN/media outlets are LAL lovers...

Tier 1

1. Jayson Tatum (Celtics) = value 10
2. 2019 #3 Pick (Knicks) = value 9
3. Jaylen Brown (Celtics) = value 7
4. 2019 #4 Pick (Lakers) = value 6

Tier 2

5. Kyle Kuzma (Lakers) = value 5
6. Mitchell Robinson (Knicks) = value 5
7. Future Grizzlies Pick (Celtics) = value 5
8. Lonzo Ball (Lakers) = value 4
9. Dennis Smith Jr (Knicks) = value 4
10. Brandon Ingram - health issues (Lakers) = value 4
11. 2019 Kings #14 Pick (Celtics) = value 4
12. Kevin Knox (Knicks) = value 4

Tier 3

13. 2021 Mavericks Pick (Knicks) = value 3
14. Marcus Smart (Celtics) = value 3
15. 2019 Clippers #20 Pick (Celtics) = value 3
16. 2019 Celtics #22 Pick (Celtics) = value 3
17. Robert Williams (Celtics) = value 2
18. Josh Hart (Lakers) = value 2
19. 2023 Mavericks Pick - prot. (Knicks) = value 2

Tier 4

20. Allonzo Trier (Knicks) = value 1
21. Frank Ntilikina (Knicks) = value 1
22. Moritz Wagner (Lakers) = value 1
23. Damyean Dotson (Knicks) = value 1
24. Semi Ojeleye (Celtics) = value 1

TOTAL VALUE

1. Boston Celtics (top assets: Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Future Grizzlies Pick, 2019 Kings #14 Pick), Total value: 38
2. New York Knicks (top assets: 2019 #3 Pick, Mitchell Robinson, Dennis Smith Jr, Kevin Knox), Total value: 30
3. Los Angeles Lakers (top assets: 2019 #4 Pick, Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram), Total value: 22

So the Celtics have the best assets by quite a margin. Definitely don't have to offer both Tatum and Brown. The Lakers are basically no real threat. Since it's rather unlikely that the Knicks would offer all their assets (7 players + 2 future picks), the Celtics can still maintain at least one other valuable asset.

An offer of Jayson Tatum (10), Future Grizzlies Pick (5), 2019 Kings #14 Pick (4), Marcus Smart (3 :'(), 2019 Clippers #20 Pick (3), 2019 Celtics #22 Pick (3) and Guerschon Yabusele (filler) should be the best on the table (while keeping Williams) and that's a hefty price, which I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay. The question is how far the Knicks are willing to go. A bidding war with the Knicks was always the worst scenario.

And I still don't understand why Danny Ainge didn't make a deal to secure a salary filler contract by trading Rozier (and Yabusele or Morris). For the right deal even Smart has to go for a superstar, but he's way more valuable to us as team leader than as a trade asset.

Kuzma's only real skill is scoring, but he shot 30.3% 3PT% last year.  Plus, he's 24, which is a bit older than other top prospects.

Why would you rank Kuzma ahead of Jaylen?

Jaylen only scores 2.0 points fewer per 100 possessions than Kuzma (on 2.0 fewer FGAs), while shooting a higher 3PT%.  Per possession, Jaylen leads in rebounds, steals, and blocks, as well.  He's a far superior defender, he's much more athletic, he's got a better NBA body, and he's younger.  Plus, he's played well in the post-season the past two seasons, while Kuzma has gone fishing.

Us and we have better players to offer than the Knicks.
