at the moment Danny Ainge is on weei radio,in case anyone is near a radio talking about KG.He said he will be back to play in the playoff. He said there is no structural damage. He is confident KG will be able to help us a lot in the playoffs.According to Danny,a lot misinformation is circulating.quote DA:His knee is stable. He said KG will be the only one knows how much he can play.
Scal is coming back slowing,he is riding the bike,in the pool.He didnt have a third concussion, but had concussion-like symptoms.Tony Allen should play tonite.

TP, housecall, and another one if you can give us a brief recap.

DA says no structural damage. Up to KG. Would still be giving him time off if playoffs were sooner rather than later. Up to KG how much pain he can take.

Strong possibility of surgery down the road. Window of time he can help them (this yr)

Worried about Ray's and Pierce's minutes right now. Been better (not playing them that much) lately. Tony Allen is healthy, not in bb condition. Cleared to play tonite.

Impressed with BBD. Plays better with starters than bench players. Confidence is up. BBD has benefitted from KG being out. Not just a little bit better, but really improved . MUCH BETTER THAN ANYONE ON LAST YR'S CELTIC'S BENCH was DA's quote that stood out. Posey what? lol

Don't know whether to believe what Danny says. He's saying how great the Bobcats are. Even mentioned Radmonovic. ;D

Mikki and stef thrown right in fray. Knew it would take time. Likes Stef as a playmaker. steady strides. "we're excited about Stef"

Hopeful about Mikki. Not that impressed with his defense for a veteran.

ideally they want KG to play, but rest and health are more important than playing regular season games

Really thinks TA will help the C's in the playoffs.

No worries about a letdown come playoffs for the team. it's the "playoffs"

***EDIT***Ainge left by saying to give Tommy Points to housecall and johnnyrondo ;)

My guess is he's referring to the playoffs.  He wants to play NOW, but they are trying to get him as close to 100% for the playoffs hoping that this tactic pays off.

Honestly, if up to KG, he'd never miss games and be a complete cripple.  Danny and management are holding him back hoping to get his knee as much rest as they can buy.

Was kidding. He was saying how great the Bobcats are and that Radmonovic helps them, which makes his words less credible. ;)

Hey, remember Game 2, man.  Radmonovic has a wicked 5 step layup.   ;D

Haha, but I wasn't. I'm always indifferent to what Ainge says - I think he's very good using the press to accomplish some goals, like motivating or sending messages to players, opponents or fans, but he's very far from being a candid GM. I still remember when he said that the day after winning the championship Rondo went to the practice to take 300 jump-shots. My policy is just "wait and see".

what exactly would the surgery be attempting to do if there is no structural damage?

did they ask Danny that....that seems like the most important question.
