First, this is not a "blame Danny" post. I have no idea what he did or didn't try to trade and what the potential offers were. There's really no blame to be assessed.

The plus side of having not moved last night is that our expectations should be properly lowered for free agency and the trade deadlines. Last year, we were supposed to have fireworks. This year, we were supposed to be movin' on up into the lottery. True, we did get IT at the trade deadline last year, but that's about all.

For me, lesson learned. No more believing the hype, no matter how much I want to. I'm setting my expectations at zero and hoping for the best. Looking forward to next year.
