.With the way sheldon williams compliments rasheed wallace coming off the bench I feel that glenn davis may be able to be thrown in a trade package...it all depends how well sheldon continues to play....

Glen davis with
Jr giddens or
Tony allen or
Scal

For
Travis outlaw...

Starters

Edited your title, please don't try to mislead. -Faf

I was in shock when I read this. Turns out, a person with too much time on his hands is trying to make fun of us.

With that said, I very much doubt that's enough to land Outlaw.

Especially with Batum's injury. Though Outlaw hasn't looked all that great.

Love Travis Outlaw. I hope he signs here next season. But Can you trust Sheldon in the playoffs? 3 games so far, 79 to go plus the playoffs. LandLord has been a bust so far, and 3 games doesn't change it.

I think you can trust him to be your fourth big.

yeah 3 games isn't enough and at KG and Wallace's tender ages and Perk's history of shoulder problems I'd rather keep on the bigs we have right now.   If Sheldon continues to play well for an extended amount of time maybe revisit the idea around the trade deadline.

Now that we have Daniels, this trade isn't the potential "steal" that it could have been last year, because, to be real here for a moment, Outlaw isn't that much better than Daniels, if he's better at all, and, as a general rule, big men are more important than wings.

If Portland stupid enough to make that trade, I would be all over it.  I'd run the risk on Landlord continuing to contribute. We are only asking him to rebound, defend and make foul shots. I don't need more than 3 games, plus his prior record, to see that he is more than capable of providing that.

I could definitely see the possibility. It gives Portland some insurance in case Oden is a bust or Alridge gets hurt. They have a log jam as sf between Martel Webster, Outlaw, and Batum.

Especially if they got a veteran with an expiring contract and some versatility like Scal for a young team

In the mean time thanks to the mods for changing the title. It's one of the rare times mods should be able to give negative TPs
