Still don't get the Jeff Green signing... I mean someone has to be on the move, and it's pretty crazy that DMC of all places, didn't even want to go to the Wizards to play with his homeboi John Wall.

seems like they didn't want him rather than DMC didn't want to go there...

That isn't true. They have been linked to Cousins for years now.

Quote
The Washington Wizards have interest in DeMarcus Cousins in a sign-and-trade.

Cousins has long been linked to his former Kentucky teammate John Wall.

Sources, however, say the odds are long that a deal will actually be worked.

Alex Len is a more realistic target for the Wizards at center.

Cousins could be down to the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans for his free agency market.

Quote
Cousins, one of the top big men on the market, received interest from several teams — including the New Orleans Pelican, Dallas Mavericks and Washington Wizards. Cousins entered free agency after suffering a torn Achilles tendon in late January. A four-time All-Star, Cousins was expected to land a maximum contract on the open market before the injury. 19 hours ago – via Yahoo! Sports

That locker room in Washington always seems like it's on the verge of imploding. Not sure adding DMC would've been the right call.

DC could only offer the MLE. If you’re Boogie, money being equal, would you prefer them or the Warriors?

My guess is he could have gone to DC, but made a smarter choice.

Any one have a link with what teams have for cap space and MLE, room, biannual, etc. left?

I'm curious if there are going to be any Smart suitors.

No links, just keeping track of it in my head.  Just posted this in the Tyreke thread:

Congrats Tyreke.  There are now only four teams with cap room greater than the mid-level: Atlanta, Chicago, Philly, and Sacramento.

Realistically speaking, the only team with the most cap space now is the Hawks with $14,170,182.

And I really don't think Smart is going to go there. As Saltlover said above, Philly, and Sacramento/Chicago also have cap space, but you can certainly strike out Sacramento, and Chicago has already said they don't want to take on additional salary until next year.

Adam Silver has to get this under control. He has a regular season that is pointless and now a playoffs that is pointless.

I don't think there's any problem.  Adam Silver and the NBAPA already have it under control with rules in place that will cause GSW to be paying so much in tax soon they will have to break it all up.  Every fan wants free agents to sign with their team for a discount for a chance to win and has every right to.  GSW is not exempt from that right.

No team is unbeatable.  Don't forget about the 2004 Lakers team that added two hall of famers in free agency after winning 3 of the last 4 titles.  1996 Rockets added Charles Barkley after having won 2 of the last 3 titles and never saw another Finals.  Miami Heat were defeated twice in a four-year span.  Lots of these "super teams" look a lot more unbeatable at first than they end up being.

Cousins best attribute is his scoring.  If his shot attempts have to come by taking some away from Curry, Klay, and Durant, then that is not necessarily going to make their offense any more efficient.  I'm not even positive that Cousins is a great fit for GSW.

Amen...TP.

Just a minute...the ejections and the technical fouls alone are gonna make GSW a "better" team.. They barely had any of those all important stats last year.

With Indiana using cap space to sign Tyreke Evans, we are now down to four teams that have significant room: Atlanta ($21M), Chicago ($23M), Philadelphia ($15M) and Sacramento ($18M). This is not an easy market to be a restricted free agent.
