Hayward was aggressive game 1, except when a Kyrie was on the court. He needs to be less deferential when playing alongside Kyrie.

We will really need Gordon’s best vs Bucks.

Hey, anyone know how many points per game Hayward is averaging in the playoffs right now?

Yeah he was clearly a non-factor down the stretch of last night’s game.   ::)  The man hit two of the most important shots in the game!

That’s the most bothersome thing, how different (tentative) he plays with Kyrie than without him.

We have to put that on Stevens for not forcing them to play together more so they would have their chemistry down by now. He succumbed to he pressure and relegated him to the bench, even when he rounded into form and Morris struggled. And I’m ok with him coming of the bench, but he needs to play alongside Kyrie.

Down the stretch of playoff games, we need our best players out there together. We did it last night and it worked, but it sure wasn’t easy. Against more difficult teams, we will need better team play (and hit our open shots).

We had our original SL in to close the game last night, and I was very pleased with the way they performed.  I think with Hayward, it has been a one step at a time approach.  Working with the 2nd unit has given him the opportunity to get his confidence back.  Meshing with Irving is the next step.

We'll certainly need him at his best, like he was today.

In addition to Giannis, we'll have to worry about Middleton, Bledsoe, Ilyasova and Mirotic so we'll need all the weapons we can get (not to mention if they get Brogdon back.)

I think we'll win the series in 6, but it will be a battle.

Loving his current play. A little sick thinking about what could have been last year if h wasn’t injured. Finals appearance for sure.
