Big 6: This Wallpaper deserves its own thread

I wasn't the one who initially found this.  Someone posted it in another thread.  It's in the wallpaper section on nba.com/celtics:



Freakin awesome pic.  "The Big 6".   

First thought:  McHale recently mentioned that back in the 80s they undersold their height and that in reality he's 7 feet in socks (mentioned after questions about why he was clearly taller than Big Al).  So if McHale is 7 feet... the pic looks a little disproportioned.  Pierce looks bigger than McHale.  But anyways..

Second thought:  I'd love to see some of the creative CelticsBlog photoshop artists create some variations of this pic.  Bird and Pierce slapping high fives... KG and McHale gearing up for a big play... etc.

Third thought:  "Of those big 6 who comes off the bench?"  I figure Ray, right?  Can you play Bird at point forward with Pierce at SG, KG at SF, McHale at PF and The Cheif at C?  Interesting... 

Forth thought:  "Wait a second...  if those 6 are sitting on the bench.... who the hell is in the game???"

I'm trying to figure the last one out with my dad.   I figure they are watching Russell at Center, Cowens at PF, Hondo at SF... and the last 2 we are having trouble with.  I mentioned Cousy at PG and although my dad is a fan going back to his childhood in Boston, he says, "Cousy wouldn't even play today.  Different era... he'd be too slow" (better and oldtimer says it than me).   His pick for PG is Tiny Archibald.  But maybe DJ?  How about at SG?  JoJo White?  He says he'd take Sam Jones...

if those 6 guys are on 1 team, the remaining 6 guys on the bench have to be the scrubs

The only significant difference from that photo are the sneakers... I wish the Celts reverts back to the black-toned shoes at home games...
