We better start playing early in next game. Watch tape, and make hard playoff fouls. Troy Murphy, we need you.

Forget the refs, they'll be like this all series. Go Celtics!!

Guys, I know everybody is frustrated with this game but you have to stop with the homosexual slurs.  e.g. "queen", and even "pansy"

I hope to god you are kidding.  How are "queen" and "pansy" homosexual slurs? Its not like "****" or anything.....

Queen is absolutely a homosexual slur, and pansy is borderline.
pansy is not even close.. Queen could be referring to him being womanly, in which case it would be sexist, not homophobic :P

Queen is a homosexual slur.  There is no equivocating on that one.  Pansy is a term which implies that somebody is unmanly and weak, meaning it's not explicitly a homosexual slur, but it's borderline because it often has that kind of connotation.
maybe in your mind. but when a man calls himself king, calling him queen doesnt HAVE to have anything to do with homosexuality. Like I said, it's sexist, not homophobic. Do you just enjoy calling people homophobic for some reason?
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

I have gotten over perk being gone. I still can't accept the two non-contributors the celts got back. Green stinks and krstic is a total non-factor. That is not why the celts lost, but they bring nothing to the table.

miami should have beaten boston by 20 with the turnovers and horrible calls.

Guys, please leave the policing to the mods. There's a "report post" button for a reason.

Cheers.

Hey Jeff Green, watch James Jones...thats what you need to be doing for YOUR team

I agree Jeff Green was supposed to watch him before but he let him get hot. Get Green the hell out of here. cut him i don't care how just get him out of here

just wait and see if Danny doesn't compound his disastorous decision of trading away Perk by spending too much to re-sign Green this summer in order to justify the trade and attempt to prevent himself from looking foolish. too late for that though.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Not a good game 1. I expect them to come out a lot better next game and steal one.
+1. I'll take that.

I predicted a Heat win over in the prediction thread so not that surprised, we should bounce back.

I expect Shaq to be back for Game 2 we need him badly to open things up.

Have to agree to this. Green isn't all that. Looks lost.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Pierce is going to poop on their defense in game 2. Rondo and Ray will do the same. Miami won game 1 at home like they were supposed to that's all. Hopefully Shaq can come out of his break in case of emergency case.

As bad as this game has been, Boston is still in this series. Tough loss today, but tuesday is another game.

Series is far from over. If the series is fairly officiated (which it wasn't today), then Boston will still win this series.

KG owns Bosh.

Wade won't play this well again.

James Jones played out of his mind.

Refs made terrible calls, and to me - favored MIA.

Tuesday is another game. MIA hasn't won this series, and they won't.

Need to expose Green to some gamma rays, like Dr. Banner.
