Detroit's not exactly a great team, but they are a bit better than the garbage teams we lost to in Games 1 and 2.  I fully expect us to start getting blown out once we start facing competent teams.  This might be one of them.

Still, it will be a fun ride.  I'm most interested to see Fav go against Drummond tonight.  Drummond is beasting.  That's going to be a great matchup to watch.   I use to think 20-year-old Drummond would be a good prospect to receive in a Rondo trade, but I can't really see the Pistons moving Drummond at this point.  He's the future of that team.  Let's see if Fav can hang with that size.

Beyond that, also interested to see if Sully can get some minutes vs Greg Monroe.  Detroit is big.  Josh Smith vs Jeff Green should be an interesting matchup as well.  I think Green is actually slightly bigger than Josh Smith.  Excited to see those guys throw down.

Should be a fun game.  My objectives are the same here as always.  #1 - Hard fought loss.  #2 - Develop the youngs.  #3 - Stat-padding for the crap contracts (Wallace/Lee/Bass).

As always...just gross

Don't forget to set your clocks back 1 hour tonight also.

Now this is not nice, we set our clocks in my timezone back a while ago and I was sure that the game would start at 12am our time.. Oh well 1am it is, I donīt have anything important ītil tuesday.

Will the Celtics use the standard strategy of letting Josh Smith shoot open jumpers in the first quarter so he keeps shooting jumpers, open or not, in the fourth quarter?

I don't know if you really have to try to make this happen.  But sure!

Monroe and Drummond are going to kill us tonight. Great test for our bigs, especially Faverani.

Bold prediction

Faverani will eat Monroe and Drummond alive.

Also, remind me not to buy a lotto ticket.

hahaha  ;D

I'd love to see him play well.  I love Drummond though.  Shawn Kemp-esque.  I loved him in the draft and he is growing in the right way.

Often the silliest knock against a draft propsect: Low motor.  Drummond and Barnes both had that knock against them and both are very good young players who play hard.

A win tonight would salvage one of the worst sports weekends of my life.

Do the Detroit area residents know the NBA season started? That arena is pretty darn empty!

Don't like Bass today at the 4 against this combo, hope Stevens recognizes this early.

Shame.

I really like their team too (well besides Jennings... LOVE the frontcourt though)
