But when he's healthy I dont see why not. Poirier was warming the bench, might as well have Tacko do it. He might also actually contribute.

Red Claws have a game tonight.  I bet Poirier will be back tomorrow.  Since the team isn’t having a practice today, it’s just a way to get some rust off him.  And if Tacko is out today, that means there are minutes for him to get without messing up Fall’s development.

That's true, but being with the team and training with them is also a plus. I assume G-league players dont train with the big league team

That's true, but being with the team and training with them is also a plus. I assume G-league players dont train with the big league team

They don't, but they could be called up for a practice.  The issue with Tacko is that he can only be with the big club for 45 days this year, so it would be a waste to have some of those be him warming the bench.  Better to use them for practices (and games later this year if needed).

Teams can (and have) call up a player for a practice and then reassign them to the G-League the next day

I watched him play against Wisconsin last night. Glad to see he's getting some time on the court at least. Never know, with injuries we may need him.
