55 wins who would have thunk it after Hayward went down?

Next year this team is going to be a lot of fun.  Lots of scoring.  The ball will just be flying around....

Not to sound like *that guy*, but I kind of wished the C's lost.

Then that Nets Pick wouldn't be so great for CLE.  :P

:D well its a great consolation for them when Lebron leaves.

boston deep deep bench and two way players better than the nets!!!

great game, good to see yabusele and gibson and others play minutes in a victory.

tps for one and all, even those with faulty faith.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Our team tonight:

A. Baynes
A. Nader*
J. Bird*
S. Larkin
G. Yabusele
G. Monroe
S. Ojeleye*
J. Gibson

Our team in Summer League 2017 (top 8, roughly):

K. Allen
J. Bird*
J. Brown
J. Tatum
A. Nader*
S. Ojeleye*
A. Zizic
D. Jackson

So, take out the players who were on both teams and you have:

Baynes/Monroe/Yab/Gibson/Larkin vs.

Zizic/Tatum/Brown/Allen/Jackson

Who ya got in a 7 game series?

and HOW many games did Irving miss or he was hurting and could not play up to his stds. a bunch

If Irving is 100 % all season , Celtics would be pushing 60 wins.

Underlooked part of tonight’s win by Boston and loss by Toronto (failing to reach 60 and hit their record) - could very well influence the Coach of the Year award. Utah losing to Portland and not getting that three seed could also affect it.

Imo, you can’t go wrong with Stevens, Brown, or Snyder. All did superb jobs this year given their individual contexts.

Yeah, it's funny, I thought the same thing. 60 wins is a magic number of sorts in the NBA, and those number matter. I think Westbrook would not have won the MVP last year if he averaged 9.8 rebounds per game.

Let's dig up the preseason predictions, people predicting we would regress and not even win 53.

To win 55 games with the injuries we had is pretty astonishing.

If we were as healthy as Toronto was, we probably approach 65.

I'd say roughly 20 for Irving, 10 for Horford, 10 for Brown, 30 for Smart, 30 for Morris, 20 for Theis, and of course 81 for Hayward.

That's a lot of [dang] games missed.
