Kenny Smith last night made a good point: The Celtics have the better players, the Heat have the better team. The Heat play more unselfishly than the Celtics. The Celtics seem to be saying, hey, it's your turn to try to score a bucket.
For the Heat, everyone sticks to their role, and they each excel at their role. It's funny, because this is really what Brad is trying to instill. Yet hero ball, which is really just lack of confidence in the system, seems to creep into our guys. When we play with defensive intensity and offensive trust, we are unbeatable. Those moments are fleeting, and if that continues, we won't advance.
Here is hoping we continue playing Celtic ball, this time for all 4 quarters.
