He's rumored to be a huge football (soccer) fan, so I would imagine he will request the iconic #9 jersey.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner!
I'm bitter.

HA! Poor Rondo.

Looks like some ones number isn't going to get retired.  ;D

Someone jokingly said he must be getting a statue instead of his number being retired lol

Brown just said he plans on asking Bradley is No. 0 is available.

I don't like this kid.

I don't have a problem with him asking.  I'd be asking in that case, too.  It's an issue if he won't take no for an answer, or gets mad at AB for saying no, but what's the harm in just asking?

I believe the report said that he was laughing as he said it also.

I dont like that either. AB is the most tenured Celtics player, he is 1st team all defense he has been starting since the big 3 era. Jaylen Brown hasnt played a game. Know your place man.

Could you possibly post a link to the interview/report?

Doesn't he know his place ? He's more intelligent than I thought. He knows Bradley's getting paid peanuts for what he's worth so maybe Bradley gives it up for the right price ?

Bradley might need the money since his agent isn't doing the job for him.

Here are the Celtics retired numbers:
00, 1, 2, 3, 6, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 31, 32, 33, 35

I'm going to take a wild guess and say he goes for #9.  It's not taken by anyone on the current roster.

Avery Bradley is 0, so Jaylen is not likely getting that number either.

since he was laughing I dont have a problem with it anymore, but its pretty disrespectful for a rookie to come in and expect a vet like AB to give up his number.
