Tyson Chandler...i brought up his name last year..i think he be great on this team..alternate Chandler & Baynes, let Al play PF..bring in rebounding and block shots which we sorely need!! great veteran play bout 20 minutes a game and probably wouldnt take much to get him...now Phoenix may want to keep him to help Ayton
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

I have always liked Chandler. He can certainly still rebound.

Boston has no one worth giving up for Chandler.  I mean he makes 13.6 million.  To get that much salary is a lot of the C's depth.  I mean are you giving up Morris, Yabu, Semi, and Theis for Chandler as an example.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Yeah that is not doable. Maybe they will buy Tyson out and we can add him later.

Thats what im hoping for is a buyout..if Phoenix struggles, they may buy him out..if they do, hopefully Ainge jump on him like they did with Monroe last season..but with him living in LA, he may sign with Lakers 😒

I'll agree with that.

He is on a cheap rookie contract with a team option for next season. This also makes him a good filler in any potential trade.

I could see Chandler being a nice insurance policy for Baynes, but he's not worth giving up any assets for.

The only realistic way we could, or should, acquire him would be if Phoenix bought him out.  And then we'd have to contend with other teams that might be willing to offer him more playing time.  He'd probably only see the court for the Celtics if one of Horford/Baynes was injured.

I'm also not sure that Chandler has any interest in chasing rings at this point in his career.  He's been on record saying he's content to be a mentor for the young players on the Suns.

I wonder at this stage of his career what is more important to him, playing time or getting another ring? By now every GM knows what he can and cannot do and what he can bring to a team. More playing time isn't going to change that.
