Kyrie Irving's 9.5 assists in the month of March currently lead the NBA

Over his last four games, Irving is averaging 24.5 points (48.7% FG), 6.0 rebounds and 9.8 assists (3 double-doubles)

And that's before his 30pt 11 reb 9 assist game today.

Not bad for a guy who can't pass

He seems like he’s really improving as a passer.  That’s awesome.  I used to think that Smart saw the court better than Irving, but lately Irving isn’t just seeing the court, he’s been create at creating angles for passes.

It’s hilarious.

We’re so much better without a top-3 PG on the floor ::)

man how the game has changed where 9.5 apg can lead the league for a whole month.

but good on Irving, sharing the ball more and the C's are winning.

true

Also good on the team. He doesn't get the assists if the others don't make buckets

Good for Kyrie he has listened to the critics that said Cs were better when he shares the ball and he ha upped his game. Kudos to those that called for him to share the ball and kudos to him for changing his game.

He's a gunner. He doesn't pass. People deify IT but Kyrie puts up more assists than he did. With more efficient scoring to boot.

For the record, I'm not downplaying what IT did for us. Just pointing out the hypocrisy.

Ha, don't flatter yourself. If he listened to every armchair GM that did nothing but bash him all the time, he would've stop playing a long time ago.

You realize that Kyrie has been sharing the ball all year but that he has now taken it to an elite status. It's not like he wasn't sharing the ball and now he is. It's more like he was doing a very good job sharing the ball and now he is doing it at an elite level. Big difference there.

So you are saying he has upped his game? He agreed with those that thought he could do better.

All great players evolve in every facet of their game and get better with every passing day.

Kyrie certainly falls under this umbrella.

I am not sure he agreed with anything. The guy has been playing at an All-NBA level all year. It could be as simple as some guys knocking down the shots that Kyrie has been giving then all year and they have been missing.

But yeah, Kyrie, went from All-NBA level to MVP level for this month. He definitely got better. But I am 100% sure it wasn't because he was listening to people complain about his play that is behind the better play.

And we all know we'll have a ton of "Are we better without Kyrie?" or "Is Kyrie a bad teammate?" after he has a bad game.
