I deal with it when I'm on my laptop because those ads are how the bills get paid here.  It's either that or start paying a subscription fee.  Ads are the price we pay for the free use of the platform.

Luckily, my phone does inherently block all that stuff.

Its not the Ads.... it is this video that plays on the bottom right side of screen!!!

It's the videos that are so distracting and annoying.

I would be willing to pay a $5+- fee per month - but that is just me.

The ad in the bottom right are annoying and needs to be closed with every click to a new page/thread, but I still can't believe we are dealing with these religious ads. I understand that it may not bother others so much, but if we had multiple muslim or atheist ads throughout the site, I am sure something would be done. Byennie has definitely been aware of it for quite some time - over a year - and if he really wanted them gone, they would be gone. This is a basketball site, not a site to push certain christian beliefs. I don't need to see anti- forbidden topic ads or going to hell ads on a basketball site. It can't possibly be helping with the declining membership around here.

EDIT: Lol as I type this, I am seeing a good vs evil ad (fire in the background on evil side, old white men in suits on the good side), a freedom from sexual sin ad (chains around a man's wrist at his computer preventing him from...you know), and another ad with two bishops/popes(?) - again with fire in the background. Like, you've got to be kidding me.

My videos are always sports related so I just let them run.  The ads are religious themed, but i honestly never look at them and don't even notice unless like now I intentionally went to look at it.
