Gordy played awesome tonight .

Its time to put him back where he was hired to play

He did play great but coming off the bench is HUGE. Leave him where he is and still give him big minutes but no need to start. Need to keep playing Baynes & Horford together at the start.

I agree. Like Early Havlicek days. Rights 60’s??
Suggested that last offseason but the "HURR DURR THIRTY MILLION DOLLAR PLAYER ON THE BENCH" mob swarmed me. Wonder where they are now

CBS out of nowhere finally (last week), starts Baynes and Horford (f@#$ finally)

Hayward is "back" after a long journey

And Kyrie is like the good Kyrie

talk about things coming together at the very very last moment. Like someone procrastinating right before an exam

Not even sure how to digest this or if this is real life

I agree. I know that egos are a real thing, but this team is best served by having Horford and Baynes starting and Hayward and Brown coming off the bench. And Rozier and Morris playing as few minutes as possible.

This

Morris took the 3rd most shots on the team tonight and he played the least minutes of our top 6 players.

Tatum 9-19 in 34 min
Kyrie 7-14 in 27 min
Mook 4-13 in 24 min
Gordon 9-9 in 26 min
Al 5-8 in 27 min
Baynes 5-8 in 27 min

Maybe when Jaylen is back we can play a little smaller and let Morris sit.

Rozier 7 mins vs Wanamaker 17

What was this story like in game? What’s the sense of this as new reality?

Sadly, Rozier still out scored him, in that time.

Now we need Jaylen to not get benchwarmer minutes and this new reality will be a dream.

They said that Rozier was ill and could play if needed in the 2nd half. The minutes difference was due to illness. I thought Wannamaker did a good job. I was not sold on him at the start of the season and really missed Larkin but he has won me over with his steady play.

Sadly, Rozier still out scored him, in that time.

Box Score says differently....
Rozier 3 pts on 1-2
Wanamaker 9 pts on 4-5

Thanks you for real answer Hodgy, TP

8-0 in games Jaylen brown doesn’t play.

“i’D dRiVe jAYlEn tO tHe aIrPoRt mYsElF!”

Clearly his teammates don't like playing with him.
Lol
TechSupportLarry reached out to me on Reddit to say there's actually some truth to us being better with Jaylen.  His premise was that Jaylen is spaz on offense and is an atrocious defender who overplays his man constantly causing the rest of the team to scramble.   He points out that our offense and defense both run better with him out and the team averages 119.5 points per game when he doesn't play.

Looking back at the Box it's confirming we still have an issue for this team to ride the hot hand unless it's a PG who controls the offense to begin with. We need to get better at it like the Warriors. Riding a hot hand will bring up the efficiency. This could have been a 30pt win.

Funny how the Celtics record without Kyrie seems to always be brought up around here but there is crickets when it comes to nearly every other Celtics player absence.

He's a role player and he knows it. He's not going to set the world on fire but he doesn't need to at least - we have more than enough guys who think they are go-to guys for scoring. He just needs to not turn the ball over and make sure he distributes it efficiently, make sure he's in the right spots to get a pass, and he needs to defend.
