This is not new-just go back to last season
This year even more so with the addition of Baynes, Morris and Tatum.
Then there is the growth of  Brown,
Marcus and Rozier on 2nd team and can't leave out semmi for defense another young rookie
I lloved the sideline baseline trap with Marcus and Semi leading to a turnover.
The strides made in rebounding. The back court violation forced by Jaylens pressure on Durant, more pressure had Curry dribbling off his foot out of bounds
Marcus all over and Jaylen skying on closeouts
Boston was like a counter puncher ready to go 12  rounds and nobody likes to fight those type of guys
And the 19 year old rookie, unflappable makes his 2 foul shots and  its a four point game-

This is new.

The 14-16 Celtics matched up well with the pre-KD Warriors. They had no shot against Durant.

This years Celtics matches up well with the KD Warriors. I personally think its a big difference.

The main question imo becomes how have we been able to provide a really tough matchup for one of the greatest teams ever with 2 almost entirely separate rosters? When we took them to OT and then beat them in 15/16, the only players still on the roster today were Marcus Smart and Terry Rozier(scored 1 point over the 2 games).

The team that beat them last year had 4 guys on the roster now and 3 of them came off the bench for that win. Our 3 leading scorers from that game are now gone.

So how have we consistently been able to bother Golden State with almost 100% roster turnover?

Easy answer: Brad Stevens.
