Welp, looks like my christmas is gonna be ruined...we'll never hear the end of this...worst possible scanario is the lakers stopping the streak

I agree. The Laker hype will never end now. Even though Celticws won the important thing: the championship. Celtics got gypped. Why does the loser get to host the Christmas game. What a joke!

They had to host the game, the NBA wanted a close game lol.

Man the 6th man for the Lakers was huge tonight.  Nothing like NBA refs.   ::)  Sure they turned it over a lot and they took a lot of outside shots but the refs were awful.

Well this game was a joke...who cares. The Lakers showed me nothing considering the advantages they had in this game and it was this close.

I'd rather lose to the Lakers than the Refs. It's such a cheap loss it's amazing. Ah well a wins a win I guess.

I really hate to whine about the refs...  But that was the worst officiated game I've ever seen.

I hope this makes all the Celtics angry.

17 turnovers. No scoring off the bench. Eddie needs to be at the 2. Need a big. Need to hang on to the rock.

Lakers can enjoy their little win. Celtics will enjoy their rings.  ;)

No biggie. Puts to an end the misconception that we don't need to tweak this bench to win another title. Never thought we could win again with this bench, and we won't. Clearly.

There are going to be nights when someone's going to have to step up off the bench - like this one - to help the starters against a top-echelon team. You know. People like, uh, PJ Brown. And Posey.

Now, it's time for Danny to start weeding out the chaff on the bench and bringing in the length, shooting and defense we will have to have to make a serious Finals run.

Hopefully this will end stupid talk about streaks and 70 wins, I just want a championship nothing more.

I totally agree.

And well, even though the ref's were terrible, the Celtics didn't lose because of that. The defense was sub-par in a majority of the minutes and maaaaan, those turnovers :(.

Garnette showed up Rondo showed up. I dont know who else on the celtics did. Ray allen did briefly in the first. On top of that the Refs were so biased it was ridiculous. Id love to have heard this game called by Tommy...

Allen made some bad plays, forced 2 off balance bad timed treys, which I think were the main reasons this game is a L.
We didn't get to the line, Ray shot 11 treys, 3 passes to the first row under no pressure...

I feel sick to my stomach. Congrats on the win refs.. +1 on whoever said not being impressed with what the Lakers showed us tonight. Nothing special. Bynum is over rated.

And guys, it's just one game. Let the Fakers have their pride in beating us. We all know who's the better team. I just hope we sign a veteran big man in the new year to help beef up that second unit.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
Celtics played horribly, played soft Laker's style, but the refs must have had money on LA, or Stern called in the win, cause that game was pathetic. Oh well, C's play horribly, have to play against the refs and still stay in the game. East will have homecourt in the finals again, with the Celtics, and Lakers have zero chance of winning. Just like in the finals, the games in LA are close and it's anyone's game, and the games in Boston are beat downs where the soft team collapses. Expect a double digit win when the Fakers come to Boston.
