I love Holiday. Underrated. People on this board know it

But Rob Williams also in this trade?? UGH

And who are our backup bigs??

Holiday offers leadership and toughness. Something they had to have with this group.

Brad's got the balls man, rolling the dice bigtime---but Rob is always hurt, so lets sign Biyombo now.

Wow, not sure how I feel about this.

On one hand, we have *far and away* the best top five in the league with JT, JB, KP, Jrue, and White. That lineup is going to be an absolute two-way monster and downright impossible to defend.

But, man, now we’re very thin upfront. We need another rotation level big badly. And I hate losing Rob.

I do wonder if this means we’re planning on playing smaller more in line with Joe’s philosophy. I do have to say that I was questionable about the fit of KP playing with either Al or Rob, so perhaps this is something the team thought as well.

Feels like we’re really going for it this year.

I’ll talk myself into this before the day is out. Jrue is like a Marcus Smart upgrade. Good D, can play either guard position. Good 3-point shooter. Boards well for size. 19 ppg and 7+ apg last year.

Cs also ‘dump’ 2 injury prone players.

I agree DEFINITELY need another rotation big.

It just occurred to me, this now means Al most likely has to play starter minutes and play every game. I was hoping he would be a backup and play less regular season minutes, so he could be fresher for the playoffs. This may end up being a really bad trade.

Hmm ... okay.

It is kinda nice to be finished with Rob Williams. His injury proneness wrecked by head. Never knew what you could depend on him for.

Smart and Timelord traded away in a single off-season

Just tragic. Loved them both

A 2029 unproctected first. So 6 years out. That is a long time away. I wonder what the team might look like at that point. How valuable was that pick? How dangerous is it to lose that pick?

They needed to mix it up.  Brad needed to gamble.

In terms of rotation player trade - lose Smart, MB, Rob and Grant.
Get KP and Holiday. Cs do get the 2 best players in that swap.
