Frozen II. I didn't care for it. The plot was fairly thin, none of the songs were memorable, and there were way too many references to death for young kids in my opinion. The quality was that of a forced sequel / straight to video movie, outside of the animation, which was fantastic. I wasn't a big fan of the over-the-top politics, but I could have easily looked past that if this was a good movie. It wasn't.
Come on, the heroes have to "tear down a wall" that's oppressing indigenous people, but civilization is spared from the resulting flood because they're protected by ICE. It's got something for everyone!
...I also thought it sucked haha. Every song was either "here's some plot info you'll need later" or "let me state my current motivations a bunch of times in a row" And the fire spirit attack scared the hell out of my kid.
I saw some recent home releases -
Ready or Not was a really fun horror movie with just enough comedy sprinkled in, the main actress does a great job in particular.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was also a good time - I didn't know Tarantino was doing the Inglorious Basterds alternate history thing again, and I'm very familiar with the Manson stuff, so the entire buildup was very ominous until the unexpected catharsis of the ending. It was super long but didn't feel that way, though I had to watch it in chunks.
