Does anybody else feel like the commentators need to cut back on the coffee before the game?  Every reaction they have is at least two notches too dramatic.

Has anyone noticed that Tatum has been destroying Covington every time they play ?

I was laughing when they said Covington was all NBA defensive.

I would settle for some buckets at this point.

On positive note, Hayward looks better than the preseason.

Why were you laughing? He literally made the all defensive 1st team last year
i think what he means is he doesn’t show it when tatums got the ball

I think that's just Tatum being Tatum, not Covington being bad at defense

Scorers gonna score
I'm bitter.

Somebody convince me that Covington isn’t trash.  Dude is awful every time I watch him play unless he gets hot from three... which isn’t often.
he had 1 good season from 3 so he thinks he’s Ray Allen

I agree he’s an average player at best

Jae Crowder caliber

Obviously, Reggie Miller is a Ben Simmons fan. Reggie has always hated the Celtics.

Yup, listening to him and Albert, you'd think we're getting blown out.

They've freaked out over every decent/good play he's made and ignored his bad plays and turnovers.

Even Tommy is less of a homer

Al Horford is such a great player.  One of the most underrated in the entire league.

Jayson Tatum is looking like a stone cold killer out there tonight.

The rest of the team had been meh, with the exception of Horford, who has played excellent defense.

Hayward has been stellar defensively, too.

I don't trust Jaylen to cover Reddick adequately.

Annnnnndddd here we go with the regularly scheduled change in officiating standard  ::) Is it really too much to just give one freaking consistent standard of officiating in a single game??

Yep and Smart has been good. Baynes is 0-3 but he's been holding it down defensively. Kyrie is missing a lot but he's missing the shots you want him taking.

Pretty vile stuff indeed. I dunno if it's just personal bias tho. IMO they're hyping him for the sponsors and network at our expense.
