Members of the Milwaukee Bucks expressed frustration that referees missed what appeared to be an obvious 24-second violation on the Boston Celtics late in Game 5.

Al Horford's 3-point attempt with 1:18 remaining seemed to come after the 24-second clock had expired in a five-point game. Instead, Celtics rookie Semi Ojeleye tapped out a rebound as Bucks players motioned for a whistle and Terry Rozier hustled to secure the ball.

Thon Maker was whistled for a foul for making contact with Rozier's big head while chasing the rebound. The Celtics didn't score on their ensuing possession but were able to take the clock down to 48 seconds before the Bucks regained possession.

There’s no question the refs missed that one. It was a bad non-call but apparently isn’t reviewable (much like all the free throws GA takes over 10 seconds to shoot).

But, Celtics didn’t score off of that. So yes, we took the clock down further but there was still plenty of time.

Celtics were admittedly robbed of two free throws that led to three points by the Bucks and I believe they said the game-winning tip-in by them should’ve been waived off too.

So.... shaddddup Bucks!

I dont generally complain about lack of calls, but it’s obvious that the bucks are fouling on almost every play. Giannis pushes people, tackles them, wrestles in the low post (almost body slamming Horford). Even on the game winning tip in, he stiff armed Tatum to box him out. Him, thon maker, delladova are just not making basketball plays, and the refs stopped calling it.  It’s up to the refs to start fouling them out or the Celtics to act similarly.

I didn't see that the tip was a bad non-call as well.  What was the issue?

Agree but it does not mean it is right.   I think he is a lot better because of this special treatment, too.   The NBA must be trying to get more fans in Greece.

It was a terrible call. Last night’s crew was bad overall, with the Bucks getting plenty of benefit of the doubt.

Bledsoe, too. The refs need to get them under sontrol, or someone is going to go too far and actually hurt someone (my money would be on Maker, if that gangly, uncoordinated Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. throws another tantrum like he did in game 4)
I'm bitter.

Yeah, on a loose ball, the refs called the ball off of Horford when it was clearly off one of the Bucks players about 3 plays prior down on the Bucks end. That play had just as much impact (ball staying with the offense when it should have gone the other way), but nobody is talking about that.

If this series had been called by the book it would be over.
