Did Rondo flop this much in Boston? I truly don't remember it as much, but it is painfully obvious tonight on all of these charges he is drawing. Pop is fuming.

I haven't seen one that was a flop.  On 3 of them he has been really put on his back.  Rondo has a lot of faults, but I don't really see him as a flopper.

G: Rondo
G: Harris
G: Monta
F: Parsons
C: Tyson

That is a tiny three guard lineup with Parsons at PF.

Great hands by Tyson Chandler to slap the ball away from Diaw's post up.

They were embellished for sure, maybe not egregious enough to be considered flops, though. The only one that really wasn't embellished was the one where he stepped in front of the SA big guy on the break, but I've always hated those charge calls because they're bullcrap.

I don't think the Spurs give up much in mid-season playing their bench. They are probably better rested than the starters. Plus the Spurs are a well oiled machine that relies on a system and not star power.

Did you watch them on opening night versus the Mavs?  They were extremely lucky to win that game.  In San Antonio.  With everyone playing (actually, I'm not sure if Belinelli was injured or not, lol.).  The moment Dallas got Rondo, Pop likely reacted the same way he did when the Lakers got Pau for nothing, and Tony Parker made a poo poo platter in his pants, lol.  Duncan and Ginobili should have retired after winning the title last year.  It was the perfect way to go out, by avenging their loss to the heat, but no.  I don't care how deep they are and how much rest they get, I don't think the Spurs can beat Dallas, Golden State, and OKC in the same playoff run before they even make the finals, if they do.  Crap, I forgot Memphis, as well.  If they get Jeff Green, it could be a showdown of Dallas, the Warriors, and Memphis, at some point.  The Spurs always seem to get lucky in the playoffs, like last year when Westbrook was out, or whatever

Rondo quit on the Celts.   Has anyone seen him play the way he has as a Celtic this past season?

His man on man D is good tonight.  His knee is fine

Nah, bad call. Joseph was completely out of control. No foul.

Rondo draws another charge. Is that #4???

We should present him with an honorary Tommy Award, lol. ;D Quick, someone send him that message on twitter, haha.

Haha, great pass by Rondo to get Joseph on the switch on Dirk. Easy hoop for Nowitzki.

Stupid foul by Dirk on the other end. Got away with the first one. Should have left it alone. Was already beaten and Belinelli had the shot going up. Stupid little push in the back.

Yeah, at least we can be thankful he didn't publicly quit on them, but it looks like Jackie Mac was right.

So if Dallas lose they'll blame this on Rondo, right?  ;D

You're totally right. He didn't take that mid-range jumper with confidence at all in Boston, but he just took three here in the last litle bit and they all looked good.

He's not suited to be the number one guy. It's not entirely his fault, but he is definitely playing with much more confidence here than in Boston.

Rondo had a comfort zone in Boston where he didn't need to play hard all the time.  He doesn't feel that in Dallas yet.
