This team is still not hitting on all cylinders, but I'll take the win.

Rozier is anti-ball movement. The second he gets his hands on the ball he thinks me. He has talent, but he struggles coming off the bench.

A wins a win.

Bench issues--

Terry is selfish
Jaylon has lost all offensive mojo and regressed
Hayward just looks so wooden out there. Just not athletic and at times looks like his feet are in cement.

Ball just sticks. No movement. Sloppy and turnover happy

I think the Celts need to choose between Hayward and Jaylen.

Those two can't coexist.

Absolutely correct. And the 5 man hockey line change does not work

i think JB will be traded in a package maybe along with terry for AD or somebody. we keep tatum and gordon.

Trading Rozier in the off-season might be complicated because he's a RFA.

As much as I love the Tatumizer, I think Jayson Tatum will have to be sacrificed to get Anthony Davis.

Jaylen Brown as the center piece of the package will not be enough to get AD.

we all know we have to add picks and filler
LET'S GO CELTICS!

as inconsistent as we have been this year i will gladly take the W and live to fight another day hoping we can eventually get this worked out

Ainge can fix this by moving Rozier.

Trading Rozier opens up more minutes for Hayward and Brown.

Right now both Hayward and Brown are struggling for shots and minutes.

Can we trade him and Semi for a young stretch 4?

Yes.

There are so many possibilities right now.

It depends on what Ainge thinks.

Ainge keeps saying he likes this team.

We'll see in a couple of weeks.

But I believe Ainge will make a move.

This is where I'm at.  Addition by subtraction.

Of course we can't say for certain if it will fix our bench issues, but I think it would help.  Likely by a tremendous margin.

True.

But I think the Pels will want Tatum, picks, and filler.

Anthony Davis is the new Tim Duncan.
So I don't think Jaylen Brown, picks, and filler will be enough.

The Pels would want another star player or a player with star potential, like Tatum.

I really don't think Ainge makes a move this trade deadline. He's going to keep all of our assets to go fully after AD this summer.

Keep saying the key to this team is Hayward turning corner. He HAS to the the second scorer to Kyrie when hw starts or the lead dog off the bench. He shows flashes but then struggles.

I feel like the second surgery really set him back

Given the timing, it absolutely did. Which is why I think people need to be more patient with him.

Celts just have too many good players wanting minutes and shots.

If Ainge is saving the assets for AD then trading Rozier is the best way to go.

Rozier becomes a RFA in the summer.
So it's complicated because a team can give Rozier an offer sheet and the Celts would be forced to match.

Moving Rozier now is the ideal scenario.

Save the other pieces for the AD package.

That will make it complicated.

I think the Pels would be asking for Tatum.

Hopefully Ainge can convince the Pels to take Brown instead of Tatum.

I agree we’d be better off having one less guy. But if we’re trading for AD, presumably we’d be keeping as many good players on the roster as we can—thus keeping Rozier as long as possible.

At this point though, you have to wonder if it's more important to get a team first guy who has no problem buying into his role (DJ Augustin or Jeremey Lin) vs. keeping an "asset" that's depreciating by the game? I get why people think Terry has value but he has red flags. He only seems to be fully engaged when he starts, but even then he's not especially efficient as a scorer. It's starting to remind me a lot of the Reggie Jackson/OKC/DET situation. He believes he deserves to start but when he finally gets the chance, he's completely average.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Folks, we're not trading Rozier at this point, he has no trade value left.

What team in their right mind would give up anything of value for him?
