They brought McDaniels back in as soon as Durant checked in.

Monte Morris out for McDaniels. Minny playing a normal lineup now. PHX playing three combo guards, Durant and a center.

Hmm ... Minny change again. Out for Naz Reid. In for Anthony Edwards.

G: Conley
G: M Morris
F: A Edwards
F: J McDaniels
C: Gobert

So back to the two PG backcourt. Then their two starting wings slide up to the forward slots. One big man lineup. Lots of speed and handles.

No NAW. No K Anderson. No 2nd big in Naz Reid.

Kyle Anderson was a game-time decision. Maybe he didn't make it. Not fit to play. Otherwise I do not understand these lineups.

KAT out in foul trouble (2pts 2 TOs 3 PFs). Ant quiet. Only 5pts 3ast. 1-5 FGA. Minny doing well to hang in this game despite no shows from their two main offensive threats.

Naz Reid their 3rd scorer 0-3 FGA 1pt.

They brought in NAW for M Morris to play SG after Devin Booker big-boyed Monte Morris in the post for a short turnaround jumper. Now a more typical lineup. Small lineup but no micro-backcourt with redunant PG play.

Cool in-game graphic. Only 3 teammates in NBA history both averaged 27+ppg in NBA History.

(1) J West & E Baylor = 1964-65 = no title
(2) Shaq and Kobe = 2002-03 = no title
(3) Durant and D Booker = 2023-24 = ?

Ant, Towns, N Reid = 8pts combined
Conley, Gobert, McDaniels = 38pts combined

Unlikely candidates keeping Minny in this game.

We'll see how it goes but the Pacers so far already look way better and more crisp than Game 1

Maybe Game 1 was just pure nerves. They had quite a few guys making postseason debuts

Two terrible plays by McConnell picking up his dribble early and getting into trouble. Got away with a travel the first time. Turned it over on a bad pass the 2nd time.

Welp, Allen is done for the playoffs. That’s a high ankle sprain if I’ve ever seen one.

Siakam lost off ball defense again. Another layup given up cause he is not paying attention.

So is the Pacers strategy just to let Lillard get his and try to limit everyone else? Because even that's not working lol, Lillard easily looks like the best player out there this series so far and has 20 points early in the 2nd.

It is just sad watching Sheppard and Nesmith trying to create off the dribble when Haliburton gives up the ball.

What the heck was that?

Strong side two man action for PHX with Royce O'Neale as the ball-handler creating and Nurkic as the screener. The Suns big three all on the weakside watching the two limited guys trying to make offense.

PHX is a terribly coached team. They were running isos for Nurkic earlier in the quarter. Awful decisions.
