Completely off topic - But why are the Red Sox pursuing another 1B? They have Youk who can play 1st or 3rd. They just traded for Adam LaRoche who plays 1st and Lowell who plays 3rd. Will Lowell go to the bench or will he and Gonzalez platoon each other. Can someone explain?

I asked the same thing on here last week.  I think it must be out of concern of Lowell's health....

I think Youk goes to third, Lowell is benched and Gonzalez starts at first. Sox just need some offense and it's an idea floating around.

Petco is an atrocious hitters park.  Get him out of there I would guess, his OPS would jump considerably.  There is already a 70 point split between his road and home splits. 

The guy is one of the best 1B in the league offensively and he's gold glove caliber at 1B.   With all due respect to LaRoche, he's a nice pinch hitter comparatively.   Get him in Fenway, I'd expect huge numbers.
