OooOO... Dat Philly team gonna be so naughty.

DeAngelo Russell, Wroten, Saric, Noel, Embiid... Plus cap space to sign a couple max contract guys.

The Lakers are now officially ahead of us in the rebuild.

They're going to get a franchise center... they seem to always get their franchise center.

This sucks. It's looking very good that the Lakers will be much better than us much sooner. As in 1 or 2 seasons.

You have to love the way the NBA parades these CPA firms as if they were incorruptible when they are actually the masters of corruption. Think about exactly what CPA firms do. They advise firms and individuals how to exploit loopholes in government regulations. Without CPA firms we do not have ENRON and we do not have the Wall Street Scandal, but we see billion dollar organizations still showcase these CPA firms as the paragons of virtue.

Wouldn't they have to save cap space to eventually re-sign those players?

They will definitely look to dump Pekovic.  They were looking to dump him last year.

Wolves are taking Towns. No doubt about it

No.  You can exceed the cap to re-sign your own players.  And in a couple years the cap is 100 mil anyways.

I hope Mudiay goes top 3.

I'd hate to see him get drafted by NYK and get stuck in the Triangle offense.

To give you some hope, remember that Bynum didn't really work out for them, and every other Lakers franchise center was acquired via trade (I think)—Wilt, Kareem, Shaq.

Why not?  Okafor and Randle is a nice pairing. I guess neither is great defensively?  Hmm... interesting.  Also interesting considering they will probably be signing Kevin Love this summer.   They'll have to trade someone... most likely Randle.

Take Okafor, Sign Love and Rondo, trade Randle + something for an equal talent of a different position.

I am happy for Minn.  Wiggins + Towns (or Oka) + dieng + rubio + lavine is a nice start to their rebuilding efforts.

I wonder if the rumors of Fred Hoiberg to Minny, instead of the bulls start to pop back up?

Was there a report recently saying Flip Saunders preferred Okafor to Towns?
