He is a sharpshooter but also can guard bigs.

He looked good and confident shooting the three as well, which is not something he has ever been that good at.  Not like he was lights out but 3-7 and I liked seeing it.

Mark my words, Brown is gone after this year. I don't know who will take over for him, but Brown is gone. They play awful team defense, even though they have great potential with their length. They do a horrible job keeping the ball on one side of the floor or funneling things to the sideline. They don't closeout well or make the other team take bad shots.

Their offense looks ok, especially considering the lack of shooting other than Reddick. I still seriously question the decision to make Simmons a point guard. Hopefully they eventually get another ball-handler so Simmons can be a roll-man.

I'm just not scarred of them as a Celtics fan. When it comes down to it, I don't think they can score consistently on a good defensive scheme unless Reddick and Covington are out-of-their-minds-on-fire.

By the way, did anyone notice that Markelle Fultz still had his push-shot with a hitch in warmups today?

I don't think the muscular imbalance is healed all the way.

Yeah, I saw that. Boy that is a bad stutter hitch. Kid must have the yips. If he does, that could ruin his career.

For fun, read this game thread.

Wow, they complain way more then us! What a read. They dont sound too fond of their coach and seem to think a perpetual lottery team can suddenly rise to top echelon overnight- Not without a strong veteran star they cant!

They feel the refs are out to get them about 500 percent more then us! Haha...

Pretty ugly stuff from first pick. How many pages of a fire Danny thread would there be if he had taken Fulz and Tatum , Embiid and Simmons were in first in the East! 😁🤪🤭

a lot of sixers  fans call him a Mental midget. It’s  funny and sad at the same time

A lot of this lately.  People see some young talent start to play well and they think suddenly teams will make a huge jump in wins when that's pretty unheard of.

It even bled over into the over/under win totals.  I never bet but almost did this year with some teams like the Lakers and Minnesota for the under.  I think they were preying on the hype.
