Some good opportunities to rack up a few wins, but I take nothing for granted with this team. Last night's game might as well have been versus a JV team in the injury depleted Grizzlies. Plus how often will Jaylen and Jayson both be on fire from 3 point line at same time like that?

Still, we seem to be sorting out some of our early season isolation tendencies.

Back on the 20th before the season started, we were predicting how the Cs would do after 20 games.  Somebody and I predicted the most wins at 15-5.  I'm not holding my breath, but the schedule may be helping us to a good start.

Jan. 1 - Detroit -- 0-4
Jan. 3 - Detroit -- 0-4
Jan. 4 - Toronto -- 0-3
Jan. 6 - Miami -- 2-2   (payback time)
Jan. 8 - Washington -- 0-4
Jan. 10 - Miami -- 2-2 (payback time again)
Jan. 12 - Chicago -- 1-3

FYI, it's only payback time if you face them in the playoffs again.  A loss in the playoffs then a win in regular season is not a payback.  It's like a lot of the LA Rams players said they got payback beating the Pats this year.  Uh, no, the Pats beat you in the Superbowl.

We know that Toronto and Miami won't just lay-down for a loss.   We'll have to earn those two victories.

agreed, they won't lay down for us and I suspect will feel a bit of inspiration to win the games against us to get themselves back on track.  Wouldn't discount Washington either with Westbrook and Beal

Looking forward to Detroit.

Killian Hayes really struggling so far. KOC no. 1 ranking hype not looking good at the moment.

But I'm really interested in watching Josh Jackson.  He has become one of Detroit's better players, now starts.  I would have LOVED if we had signed him this off season. He is finally getting his act together. 6'8" forward would have been perfect to rotate in off the bench to sub for either Jayson or Jaylen.  Oh well.

agreed. and with some of those teams the kids off the bench should get plenty of run.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

A 5-2 stretch there would be nice.

Would put us at 8-4 by the end of it and maybe just maybe Kemba could be closer to returning.

Also after 1/12, our next three are two against Orlando, then the Knicks.
