highlights from a game earlier this year.  Isr vs Serbia

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ou_sC6Z-_XE

24 pts and 9 assist

Avdija was also playing for Israel.   Pretty impressive game from Madar via highlights.  He is listed as 6'2 - 6'3 but you can see has long arms.   He looks like a solid decision maker/pro.  Directing guys where to go,  how to develop the PNR and hitting the rolling man for easy basket etc.   I don't think I saw him shoot a 3 in this highlight. But someone did mention he did shoot the ball very well at the combine or something

For #47, it makes a lot of sense.

I think he’ll come good one day. He was awesome at the U20 European Champs. Averaged 16PPG, 8APG, 3RPG, played good defence and shot well. He was really productive, particularly for a young Euro player.

He could be a good one

Given that Milwaukee and other teams actively were seeking picks late in the draft Danny could have traded the pick 🤷🏻‍♂️

Would a future Milwaukee #2 have moved the needle for you?

We could have offered any of these guys a 2-way contract, like we did last year with Waters. My binkie was Sam Merrill (went at #60). I'm pretty sure you like his game too.  You've mentioned him plenty of times in your posts.

Draft Merrill at #47 and send him to the Claws for a season. If he plays well, offer him a contract in 2021. If not, no big deal. It's just a mid second rounder.

Oh yeah, don’t get me wrong, I’m pretty annoyed we didn’t get one of Merrill or Tillman. But I think DA was set on not bringing in too many players this draft. Two guys who should be able to play immediately and one stash fits that bill

My point is, we would still have 2 rookies on the team, like Danny wants. Merrill wouldn't have made the 15-man roster.

Anyway, I know nothing about Yam Madar. Hopefully, he turns out to be a good player.

Do feel that Yam has quite a bit of potential - a guard with legitimate playmaking skills who can defend at a high level is a very interesting prospect. He might be our Ginobili (in terms of a draft and stash turning into a stud) lol.

Then Danny is a moron.

He is going to lose Brad, given, so he replaces him with Pritchard. Drafted too soon, but whatever
He is going to lose Semi, So he replaces with Nesmith. GREAT

Losing Kanter, Replacing with........
Losing Green, Replacing with.........

Assuming Kanter, Hayward and Poirier stay the team will only have 14 players and the Lux Tax MLE

The draft and stash was not necessary at all in this draft.

And he should have drafted at 30 (Bane, Tillman, Oturu, Terry, Tillman, Bey, Woodard) to get a player that could contribute and replace any of the 3 above mentioned names.

I will assume that Kanter or Poirier will be gone if not both, also assume that Hayward leaves then that means team only has 12 players plus whatever comes back from the trade (If there is any)

Point Guard - Kemba, PP
Shooting Guard - Smart, Romeo, Edwards
Small Forward - Brown, Nesmith
Power Forward - Tatum, Grant
Center - Theis, Timelord, Kanter

coming into an offseason with a tradeable asset like Gordon, A tradeable asset like Kanter and 3 first round picks.....that is a failure.

Why don’t we wait until the off-season actually finishes before calling it a failure? This happens literally every year when Danny doesn’t pick a certain posters binkie

I'm still not 100% sure that this is a real person, rather than a "yo mama" joke.

I wouldn't even be that mad if it was, it's a second rounder in a weak draft
I'm bitter.
