Gary_TanguayI expect Grant Hill to be a Celtic soon. He has met with Doc Rivers in person. Looks like Big Baby is gone to San Antonio  This is a Tweet from Tanguay just a few seconds ago Dang Big Baby to SA??

I would think BBD is gone to SA or someone else with the MLE. We won't match it, as the minutes won't justify the $$.  Plus addition by subtraction from POV of SA (or ORL).  Focus on back up wing. G Hill is perfect fit. Am a little worried about age and/or injury history. Wish we could get a younger guy who can hang with Rondo on fastbreaks (I somehow don't see Walker or Giddens as the answer).

It looks like BBD ain't coming back. Hope he did though. At least Sheed can play a little C too so that's good. I would love to see Hill end up here. Celts need to use his signing to convince him asap. Don't you worry because hill can keep up with rondo. He is not that fast but he has played fast break las couple years in phoenix and stayed pretty  sharp and efficient.
the team to beat...
a force to reckon with...
just pick your poison.

This is awesome news. I always liked him. Even when he got technicals , you could see that he was just really passionate about the game. I like that in a player.

I think we all know he is going to earn many technicals this upcoming season. Let's just hope his T's don't put us at risk of losing big games.

Here is another anonymous poll on polladium. If you have a few seconds, vote:

Will Rasheed Wallace do more harm than good for the Celtics with his short-fused temper?

So, ummm, do you think the Celts will still get McDyess?

sometimes you have to bite your lip, exhale and move on.  So, I have.

Detroit did pretty darn good with him and his temper.

I feel bad for the refs though having to deal with 2 of the league's worst crybabies on one team, Sheed and Perk.

This is great news.
I doubted Gary Tanguay, and I doubted that the management would actually use the MLE.
I was wrong on both counts, but sometimes being wrong feels... so right!
As in, right on!  I am happy the Cs got Sheed.  Been a big fan of his since I lived in Portland in the 90s.

Celtics fan for life.
