Some sloppy passing from Spurs here in the final moments ... need to keep up their focus for a few more minutes. See this through.

Great result if they can pull this off.

Michael Dawson has had some crucial tackles / interceptions / headers in this game.

Nice win for Tottenham. I really hope they go through.

Also, what the hell is wrong with Gennaro Gattuso?

I hope they ban him for a long, long time.

Just got back from Milan, and I can say that going to that match was worth every penny.

Spurs really stepped up and got a great result.  Well deserved.

What a finish by Van Persie! Come on Arsenal.

Terrible goal keeping by Valdes.

Barcelona have been hugely impressive most of the night. A joy to watch. Some of their front players seem tired at the moment though.

Oh hoh, wow, wonderful counter attack by Arsenal!

Great poise and pass from Nasri. Terrific finish by Arshavin.

Very nice passing from Bendtner and Wilshire and a wonderful through ball from Cesc Fabregas.

Congrats. You deserved the win and now big favorites to go through. Must be exciting to experience this stages of the CL for the first time.

Well done to Arsenal, though I have no doubt that Barca will win by more than one goal at Nou Camp.

Thanks Misha, it really is exciting.  Thought I would share a couple of the pictures I took during the game.

A couple of good matches tonight.

FC Copenhagen v Chelsea.

Lyon v Real Madrid (a rematch from last year).  An interesting fact from the BBC:
Quote
Our other Champions League tie sees Jose Mourinho try to end the strange hold Lyon have over Real Madrid, who have never beaten the French side in six meetings.

Chelsea are clearly benefitting from the fact that they have not been on a winter break while Copenhagen have (and still are, at least in the Danish league). CFC have been quite dominant in the first half and deserve their 1-0 (Anelka) HT lead. It's about time the Danish national football association reconsidered having a winter break. It's what I feared going into this match and unfortunately I was right. I hope Copenhagen can up their play in the second half.
