i would not be surpirsed to see West ham headed for the relegation line with Curbishley quitting.  Talking about a team in turmoil, and lets not forget that two years ago they were close but Tevez and Mascherano saved them in what was a very interesting deal.

I read that Michael Laudrup is
in the running towards becoming
the Hammers' new manager. As a Dane
I find it very interesting.
Laudrup did quite well as assistant
coach for the Danish national team
and also as head of Getafe in Spain.

I love Manchester...City!!!

I want to wish Man City good luck
this season. I saw them in two games
against Danish team Midtjylland in the
UEFA Cup and they did not impress me.
If not for the usual bad luck and "we-can't-
beat-them" attitude of many Danish teams,
Man City would not have gone through to the
group stages.
I think it'll be very interesting to see
how the whole Robinho thing turns out, though.
Hopefully he can live up to the potential he
truly has.

My Premiership prediction:
1 - MUFC
2 - Arsenal
3 - Chelsea
4 - Liverpool

PS: Did I mention I'm a Red Devils fan?  ;)

I figured it would be a fight between Man Utd and Chelsea for the title with Manchester with the upper hand.  With the signing of Berbatov, I cannot see how Man Utd cannot win it.  I had hopes of Tottenham cracking the top four but that appears less likely than I thought.

Arsenal second ACF?

United and Chelsea 1 & 2, not sure of the order yet. The rest is very much debatable, Liverpool will probably get third but I don't see Arsenal finishing in the top four this year. They lack quality and depth.

I'm sorry maestro.
It's just that I hate Chelsea
more than I hate Arsenal  ;D
Liverpool (as you pointed out)
are usually underachievers.

Yeah Liverpool are perennial underachievers (unless it's in Europe, then they overachieve) but third would be good for them this year with the quality of teams behind them. I think City will probably grab fourth if I'm honest. I did think Spurs would but they've typically let down yet again.

I've found this thread quite late, but I'm glad I did. Am I the only Newcastle guy around here?? The rest are probably hiding in shame after losing to Fulham last week, but hey... thick and thin.

Worse team? 2008 Newcastle or 2007 Boston Celtics?

Howay the lads... can't get much worse

Nah, I love the Toon, I have always had a soft spot for Newcastle, their beer drew me in. But I have no real club allegiances, I'll wear a Drogba jersey on a Monday, and a Rooney jersey on a Tuesday. I think Man U repeats, Chelseas 2, Arsenal 3, Liverpool 4, Manchester City 5.

Yeah...  that Arsenal loss hurt.

No kidding, the fact they're my most hated team in any sport (slightly ahead of LAL) made it even worse for me personally.

I feel a bit bad for Thomas Sørensen, though.
I'm sure none of the goals were his fault (?)
He's a classy person and a great keeper.
Plus, he's Danish  ;)

The easiest? If I knew they were that easy I'd post every time Arsenal lose and/or we win ;)

Yeah Sorensen is quality, always rated him since his Villa days. He wasn't at fault, you could say he could have done better with the first free-kick Ronaldo scored, but Cristiano hit it so hard it was like a bullet.

I recorded the Newcastle-Wigan game and just finished watching it, so now I'm going to vent. Bramble. Titus @!*$(#& Bramble. It had to be him. All because Habib Beye is a godforsaken idiot who headed the ball out for a corner instead of letting an undeterred Shay Given haul it in. Unbelievable. Tying Wigan. AT ST. JAMES!!!

NUFC is going to get relegated if they continue to leave points on the table against terrible teams. And I have trouble following them as it is, and they're still in the Premiership. Surely I won't be able to find a [dang] thing about them when they get sent down.

Sorry guys, I have nowhere else to send this.
