I guess there are two ways you could go with this:

1) Guys who were most effective as Celtics, but failed to win a title while here.

2) Guys who either were good here and never won, or were great elsewhere and but didn't win it all here.

List one is fairly short, but must include Antoine, Dee Brown, and well...jeez that's gonna be a short list...

2nd list will be more fun:

Shaq, Sheed, Billups, Toine, Artis Gilmore, Pete Maravich, Dominique Wilkins...any other ideas?

...yes, it's the off season
Yup

Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Antoine Walker, Rodney Rogers, Tony Battie, Gary Payton, Dino Radja, Ed Pinckney, Eric Williams, Kenny Anderson, Ricky Davis..

Those were the days. :).

Loved Radja...too bad he only played like 4 years.

Ed Macauley leads list #1.

List #2 is very long.  Pete Maravich and Artis Gilmore are two of my favorites.  I think you hit on most of the big name ones.

I realize that most of the guys on my list are probably closer to role players, but hey the 90's and early 2000's were rough.
