This is what I think of that.

they lucked out and got generational big men in Shaq and Howard, maybe they'll strike gold again and be able to get Ayton.

They need it. Their last 3 drafts have been duds. Last year they drafted Isaac who hasn't shown much, the year before they traded their pick for Ibaka (we all know how that worked out for them), and in 2015 they took Hezonja 4th ahead of others who seem like more promising prospects at this point.

If they end up with the 5th or 6th pick I'm afraid that team is going to be stuck in the bottom to the middle for quite some time.
