My brother brought back some Turkish Coffee after a trip a few years back and man on man that is some good strong coffee.

You might want to edit your post...   unless that was coffee you was drinking in a Turkish prison.  Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I refuse to step into a Fourbucks; I ain't asking for no fo-fo "venti" nonesense.  Give me a large coffee, black!  I loved those Dunkin' Donuts commercials with They Might Be Giants ("Is it french?  Italian?")

Yeh, the different names for different sizes is annoying...like theme restaurants where a cheeseburger is an Al Capone or something

Forget coffee. It is all about tea. Call me a wuss, but tea cleanses the soul and clears the head.

And you can buy cool tea accessories:

2 of the greatest aromas in life:

- pumping gas at the gas station...

- a newly opened can of coffee...

oddly, I agree on that one...never really understood why I like the smell of gas (well..certain gas  ::) )...And the more lead the better
Yup

TMBG did all those DD jingles that were prevalent a couple of years ago, right? They had a polarizing reception in the circles I traveled in. I personally loved them. Almost every single one. I recall "Plenty of Room!"," All... Night... Blowout", " Alarm Clock Catastrophe", " Fishin'", " 1 Million Degrees", and " Noooooowwww, I won't be Hungry Anymore!".

On YouTube the only ones I could find were from people who recorded them off the TV with a VideoCam for I assume copyright issues. Oh well, you can't have everything.

I absolutely need my coffee at work especially on Monday mornings.  It helps there is a Starbucks right in the building where I work and a DD right around the corner.   I try and stay away from coffee on the weekends though.

Not a fan of the coffee smell, but I must admit I thought I was the only oddball out there that liked the smell of pumping gas at the station... Thanks for making me feel sane both of you!

  • The good ole days.
If and when I drink coffee.... there better be a toilet nearby soon after.

Redz, try turkish coffee if you like it black. One huge teaspoon of coffee, then the boiled water over it, (not too big a cup ,mind you, and thick glass is preferrable)after that the teaspoon of sugar. Most important for good taste is the sugar added only last.

You should like the coffee song by the Manhattan Transfer. 'I like coffee. I like tea. And they like me. Perculator. Perculator. Give me another cup of that stuff, please.' Something like that. I will find out the name of that tune and be back in about 12 plus hours to pass it along for you. You would enjoy it.

A Tommy Point for the Coffee Love.
I've been drinking it since I was
maybe five years old. Love it!
I only drink tea when I'm really
feeling sick which is very seldom  :)
