The sad thing is our defense wasn't even that bad tonight (at least after the first quarter)...we just could not get it going offensively. 67 points in a finals game...I mean are you kidding me?!

JVG and Mark Jackson were right, it looks like they are gonna tighten the bench back up for game 7, no Nate and and TA as the backup pg again. Certainly will help the defense, TA's defense and Ray's offense were the only bright spots of this game.

As for Perk, just gotta hope he is good enough to atleast try to give it a go. Even  if he cant play much, his presence would be big.

please someone tell me why we let powe go and got shelden.
Because being healthy is a prerequisite for being able to play in the first place.

the positives that might, and I mean might, come from this beating:
* starters have gotten plenty of rest this game.  they've played relatively low minutes and god know they didn't expend a lot of effort out there.
* Artest and the laker bench aren't likely to shoot that well again.  not a definite but they haven't shown the ability to contribute consistently.  hopefully blew whatever ammo they had tonight.
* the thoroughness of this beating will hopefully drive home the urgency of the next game.  I don't know why they didn't feel that urgency tonight but there's no excuse next time.
* Perk's got a sprain and not something more serious.  It's possible he could play even it it's limited minutes.  not sure what he could contribute even if he does play.
* I'd say the C's offense can't possibly be worse so they're bound to shoot better but that's an unproven point of optimism

Would rather have powe with just one leg

Certainly a stinker tonight..didn't match the Lakers Intensity. I'm looking forward to game 7 already.

Glad we got this out of our system.

Praying that Perk is ok.

Ok, 6 AM here, I was supposed to be celebrating, but it seems like we will have to wait until thursday (friday morning here).

It's very sad to see our players go down injured throughout the playoffs, it's frustrating, even more when losing, like in the Orlando game 5. The Lakers have beaten the Celtics, both in play and in the kickboxing stuff. But it's just one game.

It's one game, and the Celtics need just one game. The Lakers got their tie, and hopefully the Celtics watch this game's tape and understand what they need to do. Doc and Thibs and all their staff are very good, they showed in the previous series, and we must accept and move on.

Looking forward to game 7, Perk's health will be important, but if he can play, even 15-20 minutes, it will be ok. He can waste some 4 or 5 good playoff fouls. They will call them anyway, so I expect the Celtics to bring some toughness. It's unacceptable seeing rondo get elbowed in the face, it's even worse to see Kobe forgetting the ball and concentrating in Perk's leg... I'm hoping for a payback, not injuring players, but fouling them in a "good playoff" way, as JVG and the rest of the ESPN "we love the kobes" crew like to call.

Go Celtics!!!

We need just one more win, and it's up to one more game. Let's get it!!!!

Beat LA!!!

But you know what...even in a blowout loss, we kept the Lakers under 90 points.  So I don't think all is lost quite yet.  But talk to me on Thursday.  ;)
