Wanamaker has really stepped up and made the most of his minutes. He has become a real steadying influence on the team. Am particularly impressed with his hands and positioning on defense.

This road trip has been good for the development of our bench as a force.  Once Hayward returns, a bench consisting of Smart, G and R Williams, and Wanamaker should be able to continue the defensive intensity provided by our starters.

I too am impressed with what I have seen. At first, I was worried he would be stealing time from others who are more valuable but I was definitely wrong. So very important to have bench players that resemble glue with the other unit.

Nice win.  Especially after that craptastic 1st quarter.  To play that poorly and still come out of the quarter with lead made me feel pretty solid about their chances for the game.  Thought Wanamaker (who drives me nuts sometimes) played a really good game.

He did

Wanamaker reminds me of like a poor man dinwiddie.  Very good size to guard 1-3 and the 4 on a pinch.  Offensively can do a little bit of everything. Physical

Perhaps we should start trusting the coaches more.

Where's the fun in that?

Couldn't watch the game, but glad we won! Also, Theis with 0 points and 11 rebounds lol. I'll take it, but that's got to be a pretty rare stat I feel, right?

Let's start a new "Daniel Theis is the new Ben Wallace" narrative, just for funsies.

Marcus Smart is at his locker, ankle isn’t wrapped, and he’s moving it around and laughing while he talks to people. So concern level certainly looks as low as it can be.

I like that news!  Thanks Salt!  tp

he now has the perfect excuse for load management

I think Smart would rather die than be load managed. Like the story about KG refusing to sit out a practice for rest, so Doc had to end it right after it started instead

Smart has that same KG mentality

TP to Jim for KG "rather die than quit story."

Doc Rivers three minutes into practice..."Ok, that's it guys, have a good rest of your day."

Where else you gonna get that?

250 boxlines like that (11 or more rebounds, no points) in the history of the game. Only other Celtics? Perk and Mark Blount.

Interestingly, Marcus Camby had TWO 0/20 games in his career..  :o
