Ayton for Anunoby is a fair trade.

Not worth giving up Poeltl as well. The upgrade from Poeltl to Ayton is not worth sacrificing Anunoby. The future first is not enough to make up the difference. Toronto better off sticking with what they got.

A home-run trade for Phoenix. It would make them much better.

Yea, I think Toronto feels they've patched the hole at center well enough with Poeltl . I don't expect them to pursue a center that isn't Embiid or Jokic (not that either is available). Probably see them try to land a replacement point guard this summer and run it back.

That'd be a horrible trade for Toronto. They need a lot more back (more picks, or another very solid player). Ayton is being dangled for a reason.

I'd rather have Poeltl than Ayton.

Ayton has an albatross contract. Suns will be paying him $34M per year the next 3 seasons.

For a guy who doesn't defend the rim, doesn't have range, doesn't compete. What exactly is he good at?

I wouldn't trade a bag of chips for him.

Agree .

I question his effort or the fact he even really likes being an NBA player

Well, I think he definitely still has potential. People may question is desire to be an NBA player, but you don't need to question his desire to be a member of the Suns. He proved he wanted out when he signed that offer sheet with IND last offseason. Dude would love a restart with another franchise.
