Absolutely nothing that happens tonight will surprise me.

If the NBA is rigged, I can't see a scenario where the powers that be wouldn't want this series to go 7 games, so there's that.

I still believe!

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

We still have a chance. We did it last year against Milwaukee.

But we will know by the first quarter. If Celtics are missing everything, Jayson is shooting poorly, the energy is low  and sixers are knocking down everything then it's going to be a long night.

But if Celtics come out high energy and defense and knocking down shots I think we can take this

More or less how I'm feeling, I think. Could go either way but if it goes to 7 I think we take the series (bit redundant because if we lose this one it's over, but hopefully the point follows).

Yeah I would agree. Celtics take back momentum if they win this game. Just depends what Celtics we gonna get.

I mean the 3's they are going to have to fall at some point right? I mean they are wide open. Someone posted stats of our 3pt percentage against Philly vs against Atlanta and it's abysmal. And Tatum has to have a big game to start at some point right?

I hope so. We all saw Houston go 0-27 from deep against golden state, but have to believe in the power of statistical anomalies.
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

There are two things that I have taken from the first 5 games of this series, PHI is a better team than I thought (Harden has stepped up is the main difference) but I also still believe that if the Celtics can play at their best, that they are a better team.  The problem has been that the Celtics have not been consistent.  I look at Horford as a key.  I hate to put that much pressure on the old guy but we need him.  0 for 7 last game.  If one of White or Smart or Brogdon is having a cold game, we can work around that but we have no alternative to Horford.

I predict a close game, down to the wire, one make or miss or call decides it, unfortunately.

My gut says last game of the season today. I don’t see it with this team.

I do not think Philly can play any better than they did in game 5 as a team.

I am not sure the Celtics can play much worse than they did in Game 5.

My heart says they step up to the challenge and win.

My head says they will make the same mistakes, play no defense and shoot themselves out of the game with the volume 3s.

Sixers by 8.

I've given up trying to make predictions about this series.

Just don't be the last game of the season.  Please.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as others. We'll just have to see how it goes. If they win, awesome! If not, so be it. I'm not really letting it ruin my mood or days. I'd like to think they battle back this series and show fight (and show they are the much more talented team) but I feel like we keep saying that yet a lot of things feel off. The coach is a problem, but a lot of the core players need to be looking themselves in the mirror too.

I think we’ll know in the first 5 minutes of the game. If they come in playing with intensity, they win.

I’m hoping they will because I don’t really watch other teams much, so the season is over for me. Not a baseball fan, so not much for me to do except chores until next year

If they win Game 6, I wonder what time Game 7 will be Sunday. Hope it's not late night

Smart, white, and Brogdon need to set the tone on the perimeter.

And I want to see a lot of Robert Williams. There's no point in saving him for later games right now.

We need to emulate the Miami Heat right now and make this game ugly. Put some fear into Philadelphia and they will eventually fold.

I want to think the league for having that game on mothers day. I mean it's not like most wives are sick of basketball by this point. By all means will they be ecstatic having to compete with a game on their day.

Two important things for tonight:

1) Get Tatum going early. Another stinker start for him abd we’re finished. HAS to be a priority early.

2) Fix the dang PnR coverage. We are getting murdered on the PnR, because we’ve largely just stopped allowing Harden and Maxey tons of room to operate. We have to be up on the PnR, have the screened guy aggressively fight over the screen, and help on the pocket pass as needed. We simply can’t continue the awful drip coverage and expect different results.
