This guy si cut out f the Draymond Green cloth. He brings so much energy. As short as he is he took charges played defense and grabbed rebounds in an elimination game to keep his team alive.

We need a guy who can bring that energy to the game for the Cs. The team is just too passive, they probably take after their coach.

Passive? Have you seen them against the Pacers?

C’s have Smart already.

Smart is intense!!!!!!!! Beverly takes it to another level of passion,  intensity and vocal energy. Smart is more of a quiet intensity. Beverly puts it all out there he is very demonstrative. Remember the play last year where Tatum dunked on LeBron and he lost his mind for a second and chest bumped Lebron? Well that is Patrick Beverly except that Beverly does not do it in a moment of suspended reality. He does that all game long intentionally and deliberately.

I have Smart in the Beverly category also.  Beverly does take the theatrics to another level but that's not something that you can expect to find in a player.

i appreciate his energy ,  and enjoy his defense

I remember Danny play n a,bit like this .  Vocal, in your face ,  ALWAYS in the opponents space crowding him .

I bet DA would like to have him on the team.

It's true that every team needs a guy like that. Pretty much every champion had someone with that kind of energy.

And yeah, Smart is our guy.

I'd much prefer every team have a player who plays hard WITHOUT deliberately trying to hurt opponents.

I like him in Celtics team, to guard (annoy) the arrogant Philly center...

Then the Celtics should draft Matisse thybulle.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Smart is a better player and better at playing the kind of game Beverly tries to play, but he's not a real outwardly high intensity character like Beverly.  Sometimes that really demonstrative loud personality can help get lower strung or less confident guys going, which we've had some problems with this year. Or drive them nuts, of course.

I'd much much rather have Smart here but the ability to trot both of them out as a defensive backcourt would be insane.

TP.

This kid is a stud, reminds me of Andre Roberson, if Roberson wasn't a complete liability on offense.

Seems very unlikely that he wouldn't be drafted.
