Our team has enough shooters. As alternative to the above three way with Dallas, Phoenix and Boston, I'd prefer:Rozier and Bridges to Dallas. Dennis Smith Jr. to PhoenixDeAnthony Melton to Boston

Per a league source: the New York Knicks and the Dallas Mavericks have discussed a deal in which Smith Jr. and Wes Matthews could be traded to the New York Knicks in exchange for Tim Hardaway Jr. & Frank Ntilikina.

Mavs coach Rick Carlisle says Dennis Smith Jr. is "still sick" and not available tonight. Smith tweeted this afternoon about meeting a fan while out for lunch. Carlisle declined to say whether he had talked to Smith.

NY would clear more cap space for this offseason while taking a flyer on Smith. Hardaway is having a career year just entering his prime, and taking a flyer on Frank.
