I feel like the game is beginning to slow down for Brown and Tatum. Both are using a change of speed in their arsenals. Nice to see.

Tatum will be better than AD in about a couple of years.

We should start a “keep Tatum in Boston” thread.

I'm a bit irritated the overall effort has been marginal at best tonight, so far, but towards the end there it did seem to get better.

Don't think it's a coincidence that this correlates with both of them being more aggressive going to the basket, too.

Even Doris Burke is pushing this dumb narrative about Kyrie  ::) Any reasonable person who watched the interview saw how overblown that was.
Doris Burke is an unbearable commentator to listen to. Seriously don't know how she has a gig

I actually don’t mind Doris Burke she’s much better than some of the other ESPN guys. Thankfully I’m listening to Mike and Scal

I'm not a fan of Doris but she's a thousand times better than Chris Webber...

Or Reggie Miller he’s the absolute worst
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Really? I think Tatum has been playing better defense recently but as a whole, I think his defense has regressed some this year as compared to last.

He definitely isn't playing defense as well as he did in the playoffs

Frankly, I don’t think Tatum’s defense has improved at all.  I’ve been watching it lately and he sometimes gets beat and then commits a dumb foul.  He also needs to put on another 10 lbs of pure muscle so he can stand his ground.

TNT players only is a special kind of hell.

Nate Robinson was once a commentator on it (unsure if he’s a regular), and god he was the worst

Interesting discussion from the halftime crew. They all seemed to agree that:

(1) New Orleans is NOT going to trade Davis to LA, seemingly both for not having the best package and for reasons of spite; and

(2) All of this is Rich Paul driven, including the father text tonight.

Disagree with Jaylen about IT, though. I simply don't see how what Danny did was wrong with IT. What was he supposed to do - stick with him and max him out? That was never going to happen, and IT ultimately screwed himself with all of the Brinks truck talk.

Further - Danny sent IT to the freaking reigning Eastern Conference champions to play with Lebron?! Sure, it didn't end up working out, but that's not Danny's fault. He sent IT to a good situation where he could still win and showcase his skills for a contract the following summer. Is it Danny's fault that IT's hip got that hurt? I just don't understand that argument at all.
